Administrative Assistant and Project Coordinator

Lisa Velazquez has been an Administrative Assistant and Project Coordinator for EMEGC since joining the company in 2000. Ms. Velazquez’s duties include assisting Project Managers in various phases for design and construction sites. This includes contacting municipalities for permitting issues and inspections scheduling; establishing service accounts for clients with utility and telephone companies; creating and designing construction proposals, change orders, purchase orders, and project close-out books. Other duties include accounts receivable, billing tracking, shipping, and receptionist back up. Ms. Velasquez served as Human Resources back-up support during Open Enrollment Week. She has also trained new clerical personnel for administration services. As a bilingual employee, she translates company documents, reports and meetings for Spanish-speaking employees.

Ms. Velazquez has prior experience with St. Augustine Healthcare and AvMed Healthcare in the commercial and Medicaid markets as an Enrollment, Claims Specialist and Member Services, where she was involved in enrollment audits, reports, open enrollment and claims processing for both markets in the state of Florida.

Ms. Velazquez attended Florida Metropolitan University and completed a course in Commercial Arts and attended Erie County Community College for Office Technology.
